How I Approach Modern UI/UX Design Projects From Start to Finish

Phone and laptop displaying interface design screens

Every project begins the same way: with listening. Before a single screen is drawn, I run a short discovery workshop to map goals, audiences and the one action the website must drive. That clarity decides everything that follows.

From fuzzy goals to a sharp sitemap

Discovery turns into structure. I sketch user flows on paper first, then build low-fidelity wireframes that the client can click through within days. Rough beats polished at this stage — it keeps feedback honest and cheap.

  • Stakeholder interviews and analytics review
  • User flows and information architecture
  • Clickable wireframes for early testing

Interface, motion and build

Once the structure holds, I design the interface in Figma with a real type scale, a working grid and reusable components. Motion comes next: transitions and micro-interactions are prototyped, not described, so there are no surprises in the build.

The best interface is the one the visitor never notices — it simply carries them where they wanted to go.

Finally the design is built as a responsive no-code website, tested on real devices, and launched with analytics in place. Two weeks after launch we review the numbers together and tune what matters.
